Northwest Floor Care, Inc. started in 1967, primarily as an industrial cleaning company, cleaning warehouses and offices around the Chicagoland area.  In 1968 Northwest acquired a Torginol seamless flooring franchise. Torginol was an innovator in the seamfree monolithic flooring industry.

In the early 1970's NFC was the leading certified applicator for Hallemite Industrial Epoxy Floor Systems in the Chicagoland area.  As the business climate changed NFC began developing relationships with other manufacturers of industrial floor systems.

In the late 70's, early 80's NFC further broadened it's expertise to include exterior insulation finish systems, and developed a slip-resistant safety system on a rubber backing material later called Saf-Step Safety Strips. 

Today, Northwest is primarily engaged in the high performance epoxy flooring systems: Resurfacers, Coatings, Decorative Resurfacers, Sealers, and Concrete Stains.  Our installations are numerous, from Air Plane Hangers to Cruse Ships, Residential Kitchens to Commercial Baking Kitchens, Industrial Manufacturing to Warehousing.
